🟧4. If the anxiety is severe enough, it may require medical attention. However, the medicine itself helps temporarily by relieving the symptoms, but changes in thinking can be achieved with psychotherapy, which together with the medicine brings about the biggest changes.

🟧5. Anxiety is a very treatable condition. There are many effective treatment methods available, from psychological therapies to medications to lifestyle changes. Anxiety disorders can be treated with psychotherapy.
Among the therapeutic methods available are cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapy.
A doctor or psychiatrist can prescribe medication to relieve symptoms and prevent a recurrence. Commonly prescribed anti-anxiety medications include antidepressants, benzodiazepines, buspirone, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), etc.
